At the pinnacle point of this route you will find Everest Base Camp (5,364m/ 17,598ft), a historic destination that has inspired generations of mountaineers, adventures and dreamers. Unlike the longer variation of trek that stretches over two weeks or shorter versions that risk poor acclimatization, the 12 days EBC trek itinerary is the perfect balance between efficiency and safety.
This trek plan includes two acclimatization days in Namche Bazaar (3,440m/ 11,286ft) and Dingboche (4,410m/ 14,468ft). These strategically placed acclimatization destinations minimize the risk of altitude sickness. EBC trek is an excellent choice for trekkers who are short on time but don't want to compromise on the quality of the experience.
The moment you take off on the thrilling flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m/ 9,383ft) you will enter a world unlike any other. Towering snow-capped peaks, swinging suspension bridges, terraced hillsides and stone-carved mani walls welcome you to the Khumbu Valley.
